Sejoe is a seasoned operator in the field of travel and hospitality. He has been in this industry since 1996, marking his entry into leisure travel with a small operating office in Cochin, Kerala. Today Marvel Tours employs over 75 staff across its 8 offices in India. A separate venture Marvel Cruises operates houseboat cruises in Kerala.
Sejoe spent 10 enriching years in the field after which it was time for something more. An umbrella brand for homestays and small properties was an idea in the back of the mind. It took many months of hard work to find properties and people who would strike the right balance between hospitality, environment consciousness and a local perspective. Thus was born Green Apple Experiences, a unit of Marvel Tours- dedicated to a enriching your experiences in India in the greenest, most authentic way.
George Tharakan
George Tharakan is a visionary, and a passionate environmentalist. According to him, he has been simply carrying on the good work his father, a renowned social worker and freedom fighter for India, was involved with. Development of society, fair practices, and a desire to protect and showcase the treasures of our shared resources is his primary interest.
George has participated in the very inception and development of Green Apple Experiences. He is responsible for identifying properties and building portfolio in the best possible way. As part of his work involves extensive travelling, he has had first hand experiences at all the Green Apple properties.
He is a graduate in hotel management, and has many years of experience in the industry. With Green Apple Experiences, he has been able to combine his qualifications with his ideals.
